the VIP chair was designed by marcel wanders for the world expo 2000 and was exhibited in the SKIN at the cooper-hewitt national design musuem. it's covered with a felt-like textile that hangs loose like trouser legs. the chair is mounted on wheels that are concealed by the fabric, making the chair appear to hover on the ground.


fabric is kvadrat divina.

dimensions: 24.4"w x 30.7"h x 20.9". seat height is 17.7".
